Terms and Conditions of Sale
Family Events or Accommodation Rental

These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as ‘GTC’) govern the relationship between La FERME 1802, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Lessor’, and the customer, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Customer’, in connection with the rental of a room for the organisation of family events or the rental of accommodation.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
1. Room bookings can be made by telephone, email or directly on our website (www.ferme1802.com), followed by confirmation by email.
2. The Customer must provide all the information necessary for the booking, including the date, time, type of event and number of participants.
3. The booking is only confirmed once the Customer has paid the deposit.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Rental rates may vary depending on the season and duration of the event.
2. A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the date of the event.
3. Payments can be made by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
4. Extras, such as catering or additional equipment, must be paid in full at the event.

CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Any reduction in the number of participants, particularly with regard to accommodation and meals, as well as any change to the dates of the stay, shall be considered a cancellation and shall be governed by the article entitled ‘Cancellation of Bookings’.
An increase in the number of participants, or the booking of additional services, will only be confirmed after La FERME has confirmed the corresponding availability and received the additional deposit corresponding to the difference in the booking amount.

CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING
1. In the event of cancellation by the Customer, the Customer must inform the Lessor in writing.
2. If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the date of the event, the deposit will be refunded.
3. If the cancellation occurs between 15 and 30 days before the event, the Lessor will retain the deposit.
4. In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before the event, the total amount of the rental will be due.

RESPECT FOR THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND PEACE AND QUIET
La Ferme 1802 is an accommodation and seminar venue located within a residential condominium. Peace and quiet are an integral part of the rental conditions.
The Customer undertakes to respect the neighbourhood and the rules of the site, in particular:
No music or sound systems are permitted in the courtyard, day or night.
Fairy lights are automatically switched off at 10 p.m.
Maximum capacity is limited to 25 people, exclusively accommodated on site. No outside persons (additional guests, visitors, caterers, unauthorised service providers) are allowed to access the site.
No festive or event activities (weddings, parties, after-work gatherings, etc.) are permitted without the prior written consent of the Lessor.
Parking is only permitted in the spaces designated for Ferme 1802. Parking in front of neighbouring houses is strictly prohibited.
Outdoor areas must be used in a manner that respects the peace and safety of the neighbourhood.
In the event of non-compliance with these rules:
The Lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental immediately without refund.
Any damage or complaints from the neighbourhood will be charged to the Customer.

ACCESS TO THE SWIMMING POOL AND HAMMAM
Access to the indoor swimming pool and hammam is free for guests staying at La Ferme 1802, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., unless otherwise specified by the Lessor.
Use of these areas is the sole responsibility of guests. The Lessor accepts no liability in the event of an accident, fall or incident resulting from improper use or failure to comply with safety instructions.
To ensure everyone's comfort and safety:
Doors must remain closed to prevent heat loss and maintain the energy efficiency of the facilities.
Windows must not be opened to limit noise pollution to the neighbourhood and heat loss.
Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
It is strictly forbidden to bring food, drinks, glass or any sound equipment into the swimming pool/hammam area.
Any failure to comply with these rules may result in temporary closure of access without compensation.

NO PETS ALLOWED
For reasons of hygiene, safety and respect for the comfort of other guests, pets of any kind are not allowed at La FERME 1802, in the accommodation, communal areas or enclosed outdoor areas.
This prohibition also applies to animals kept on a leash, in a cage or left in a vehicle parked on the site.
In the event of unauthorised introduction of an animal, the Lessor reserves the right:
To refuse access to the accommodation or to terminate the rental immediately, without refund,
And/or to charge cleaning and repair costs for a minimum flat rate of €150 including VAT, depending on the damage or nuisance observed.
Only assistance or support dogs (for people with disabilities) are accepted, subject to prior justification and written agreement from the Lessor.

CATERING
The Customer must confirm their catering choice (set menu, buffet, cocktail reception, etc.) in writing no later than ten (10) days before the date of the event. After this deadline, the Lessor reserves the right to impose a choice corresponding to the available options.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
1. The Customer undertakes to use the room in accordance with its intended purpose and to comply with the agreed timetable.
2. The Customer is liable for any damage caused to the room, furniture or equipment during the rental period.
3. The Customer must ensure that they obtain all necessary authorisations for the organisation of their event, particularly with regard to music, security, etc.

LIABILITY
1. The Lessor shall not be held liable for any damage caused to property or persons during the event, except in the event of gross negligence on its part.
2. The Customer must take out appropriate civil liability insurance to cover the risks associated with their event.

FORCE MAJEURE
The Lessor shall not be held liable in the event of inability to perform its obligations due to force majeure (fire, flood, strike, etc.). In the event of force majeure, the Lessor may propose a new booking date.

APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer and the Lessor undertake to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably before taking any legal action.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment of the deposit implies the Customer's unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
